Honestly, this is a golden opportunity for a motivated individual with a good drivers license and some experience. Here’s the scenario: my landscaping business is very well established. We’ve been in business now for 7 years. Recently I started a side business that takes up a lot of my time and energy, so, I’ve cherry-picked the best clients based on pay and how easy they are to “get along” with. Currently, my landscaping clients fill 3-4 days a week schedule. We were 5-6 days a week prior to starting a pretty successful side business. The side business requires my attention 4 days a week, so, do the math…lol. 8 days scheduled, only 7 days in a week = one frazzled dude. So here’s what I am thinking… My vision is to hire YOU, a competent, motivated person who can 1) drive truck and trailer safely and has a track record that reflects this, and 2) can operate commercial equipment safely 3) is organized 4) can communicate with clients and 5) is not willing to settle for the 3-4 day work week currently scheduled and would like to see the business grow, i.e., earn more than is on the table currently. FYI- we are a services business and not a contractor. Purely maintenance and cleanups. I have always taken the “service” part of what I do very seriously. So if you’re familiar with other service related work, big plus for you! Once you are properly trained at how we cater to our clients- I can add new clients to fill a schedule to capacity. If you can manage a crew- even better! Have a friend who works smart? Great! Let’s hire them too as our need to grows. I have the tools and equipment. Truck and trailer. Know how and ability to grow exponentially. My biggest shortcoming is the ONE person who really wants to grow a company, work autonomously, isn’t willing to settle for a stuck-wages job where you have to battle for a raise, likes bonuses for grueling cleanups, wants to help others who are skilled and capable find steady work, wants to experience both financial and personal growth…..if this sounds like you- please apply. There are several landscaping companies out there offering wages, but little opportunity for growth. The culture of this company is and will always be about personal accountability, personal growth, and personal freedom based on performance and consistency of service, safe working practices and, communication skills.
