Reverse labeling

Democratic Spending Bills that go through congress and senate for votes, are almost always mis-labeled as opposite of what they really are. The "Fair Housing Act" was anything but 'fair' to the people that ended up having to pay the cost. Started by Jimmy carter, enacted by Bill Clinton, the 'fair housing act' forced banks to give home loans to people who obviously couldn't afford the payments. My wife worked in the loan industry during that time, and she saw people getting loans to buy houses, who had no jobs and no provable income. In fact "No Documentation Loans" created the condition where banks were not allowed to look into people's financial past or inquire if they could actually afford the payments. If a bank refused to loan money to someone, they would be fined by the federal government, so a lot of bad loans happened. Then, the Big Crash in 2008, when we found out maybe it's not such a good idea to give a home mortgage loan to a welfare queen. Many homeless people and people on welfare were able to buy houses with no down payment, then just live there and NOT make any payments for six months to a year, before they were finally kicked out. Banks went bankrupt and were bought out by bigger banks, many people lost everything, it crushed landlords and many of them lost properties, etc. It was a complete and total disaster, but it came with the label of "FAIR housing act". The "Affordable Care act". Turned out to be not about 'healthcare', it was just another TAX, as ruled by the Supreme Court. The 'Obamacare TAX', costs Americans an extra $3,000 per year, and it does nothing to enhance anyone's healthcare, in fact it hurt healthcare. "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" -- In reality, many people lost their doctors. "If you like your hospital, you can keep your hospital" -- Many people lost the ability to go to their preferred provider. "The Affordable Care act will SAVE Americans $2,400 per year" -- The ACA actually COSTS Americans about $2,500 per month. Obamacare has nothing to do with actual 'healthcare', it is about taxing the citizens and giving government more control over the healthcare industry. It didn't save any money, and it didn't directly provide healthcare to anyone. It's just another government bureaucracy. The democrat's "Inflation reduction act" was totally pushed through by democrats, without a single republican vote. Once again, as all democrat bills do, it does exactly the opposite of its name. The 'inflation reduction act' will definitely NOT reduce inflation. The American Taxpayers will be on the hook for an additional $3,000 to $5,000 per year, for the foreseeable future. I hope you didn't have any plans for that extra $500/month being that you'll be throwing into the garbage. This is the kind of shit we've been dealing with, and it sucks that they've been getting away with it. Here's an idea: Any spending bill that costs American Taxpayers more than $100 Billion should be voted upon by THE PEOPLE. If politicians were honest, they would tell us: "We want to spend money on this item, and it'll cost YOU the Taxpayer, this much per year" But they don't do that; They lie to us and say "It's already paid for" when they know it's not. We can no longer leave big spending bills up to the 535 people in Washington DC (or 1 person in the White House via executive order) They have proven themselves to be terrible with money. They used to talk about Billions$ in DC, now they talk about TRILLION$$ as if it's no big deal. Pretty soon you're talking about some serious money. -- Maybe we shouldn't trust politicians with our money so much. Maybe we need to be a little more involved in controlling how our money is spent. Obviously, we can't trust all of our elected representatives.
