Guitarist and drummer in their mid-50's who have worked the Triad in various bands, both together and separate, since 1985 building a new band from the bottom up. We've played about 15 of those years together and have hundreds and hundreds of gigs under our belt. If you don't want to put in the work to build your own thing then this isn't for you. Our goal is a show focused on 80's hair/glam metal adding in some 70's, 90's and early 2000's rock. Drummer has fronted a band as lead vocalist also and will come from behind the drums to do a quite a few songs. Our goal is to find a lead guitarist that can handle Dio, Ozzy, Warrant, Dokken and so on and can also handle some quality lead vocal assignments. Not necessarily those acts but those that fall within our genre. If guitarist can also play drums that's a bonus. Also seeking a bass player that can also contribute lead vocals countering what the lead guitarist and drummer/singer can't. Will consider a lead vocalist that only does vocals but one that plays either high quality lead guitar, keys or drums would be of much interest to us. We are also considering a second drummer but they'd need to supply a significant amount of lead vocals, out front. They'd also need to have an electric kit or be willing to play a hybrid kit. While getting paid is always a goal, if that is your sole interest we won't be for you. Both the of us are willing to forgo our cut while we're building our rep so others get paid but while money will come, our immediate goal is to build this band and have it on stage Spring 2023. As the guitarist in this duo I play lead and rhythm guitar, drums and do backing vocals. That's in addition to management and booking (though I'm more than willing to share management and booking responsibilities.) My lead playing will be very selective as I can no longer generate the speed I once did. What else do we provide aside from experience? A full PA system totaling about 5000 watts, a secure, comfortable, air conditioned rehearsal space and places waiting for us to bring out next project out. Drummer and guitarist own pro gear. You should too. Bands we'd like to cover: Dio, Ozzy, Cinderella, Dokken, Motley Crue, Warrant, Metallica, Megadeath, Scorpions, Ratt, Aerosmith and so on. Songs and bands aren't locked yet.
