Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team! We have recently purchased more properties and need to add to our already established team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks. (HVAC certified is preferred but not required). The right candidate will be willing to travel to any of our Dayton, Fairborn, and Piqua locations, although you will have one 'main' property here in Dayton. Traveling would be rare. MUST be open to weekends and overtime as needed. PAY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE. RESPONSIBILITES: • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion • Maintain the grounds (including shoveling and salt in the winter) • Estimate time and extent of repairs • Communicate accurately with the Management team • Punctual and great attendance • HVAC CERTIFIED IS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED • Perform routine preventive maintenance • Experience with light plumbing, painting, and patching • Some construction or remodel experience preferred • Maintain material and supply inventory • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary • Must be willing to work at other Properties, though you will primarily be at your 'home' property QUALIFICATIONS: • GREAT ATTITUDE • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment - MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS • Open to weekend and overtime as needed • Ability to handle physical workload • Deadline and detail-oriented
