AV Volunteers Needed for Boston Veg Food Fest 10/01-10/02

Volunteers with AV skills needed for the AV team at the Boston Veg Food Fest. This is an all-volunteer organized and staffed event offered free to the public --with food sampling, exhibitors, speakers and chefs, kids activities. Details are at Set-up is Friday, September 30, 6 -- 10 pm. Festival hours are Saturday, Oct. 1, 11 am -- 6 pm and Sunday, Oct. 2, 10 am -- 4 pm. Preview Hour is Sat 10-11 am. Can you assist our AV team and do a two-hour shift, or more, during the weekend? Location: Reggie Lewis Athletic Center, 1350 Tremont St. Boston, Opposite the Roxbury Crossing Orange Line T station. Free admission, free parking. Here are the skills needed: Knowledge of audio, visual and computer connections including, RCA, BNC, VGA, cabling, wireless microphones, etc. Understanding of connecting computers to projectors. Working knowledge of Public Address (PA) equipment. Experience running live sound and presentation events for speakers.
