Description

The facilities manager will oversee all building and grounds maintenance for our company. They will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are fully operational. The facilities manager will also be responsible for working with contractors and third-party vendors. Facilities Manager Duties and Responsibilities Compressor Room Maintenance Clean filters, dryer, check oil levels, temperatures, air hoses/regulators. Schedule compressor room maintenance as needed with vendor. Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Operate water filtration system, familiarity with filter presses a plus Clean and maintain machinery General Shop Maintenance Supply orders Schedule plumbing/electrical/alarm service for building with vendors and assist as needed Forklift and overhead crane use Inspect HVAC system inside/outside Inspect outside grounds Repair general electrical and plumbing, and mechanical issues General construction Minor janitorial tasks Facilities Manager Requirements and Qualifications -OSHA certified forklift certification -OSHA certified crane operator -Follows all company policies and procedures -Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently -Self-motivated and self-directed -Assists team members when needed to accomplish team goals -High school degree; bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, business management or related field preferred. Certification in facilities management a plus. -Previous experience in maintenance supervision or related field -The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver -Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift 25 to 30 pounds -Good knowledge of various tools ability to keep tool inventory -Must pass a criminal background check
