We are a Licensed In-Home Childcare Facility in Burien, Washington. We have Full Time, Part Time and Occasional care available for ages Birth-12 and we accept State Subsidy. We are an ethnically diverse Husband and Wife Team providing quality care in our Licensed In-Home Childcare Facility. We have a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and we are both Licensed Childcare Providers. We both have certified CPR, First Aid, and HIV training. We are located in Burien, WA on a quiet safe street. We are licensed to care for up to 12 children ages Birth-12. We find that caring for 12 children is a great advantage. The groups are small enough to keep kids healthy and safe yet big enough to add diversity to the group. Having two licensed adults allows us to split the children into two age groups. We have the School Agers and the Little Ones. We have both been working professionally with children for over 20 years. We are committed to providing an Anti-Bias program for all children. We believe that the artistic, cultural, and social development of each child is integral to education. We are dedicated to providing a foundation that encourages each child’s lifelong love of learning through our educational and social programs. Our programs are based on the needs of each child; this allows all children to be successful at all stages of development. Our mission is to support the development of each child in a warm and nurturing atmosphere and to assist families by providing consistent and responsive child care in an enriching and educational environment. Our days are filled with age appropriate activities, stories, dramatic play, sensory activities, games, songs, outdoor play, walks to the park and fieldtrips. Children participate in a variety of individual and group activities designed to develop language and reading readiness skills. We work with children to enhance their physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth skills which will increase their ability to succeed in school. Our hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:00pm. We provide Highline School District before and after school transportation to Seahurst Elementary, Hazel Valley Elementary, Mount View Elementary, and Shorewood Elementary. We have openings for Full Time, Part Time or Occasional care. Space is given on a first come first serve basis. Space is limited, so don’t wait to register. Also, Flexible Scheduling is available. Our Appointed/Daily Care program allows you to save money by paying for only the days your child needs care.
