are you a guitar or bass player into instrumental surf music? not whatever “surf rock” is, but actual reverb drippy surf? the chantays? the ventures? jon and the nightriders? the bel airs? the trashwomen? the tornados? the finks? i think (i hope!) you get the idea… ALSO DO YOU RIDE A SKATEBOARD? (not a necessity but this “surf” band is actually gonna be a “skate” band) bass? yes please! as long as you can hold it down we’re in business i play drums! guitar? i’m not looking for a guitar master, it’s not about technical prowess, it’s about finesse! the music is surf, no singing! covers and originals, nothing too “guitar olympics” or too “exotica” straight forward driving surf, lotsa reverb, lotsa attitude, lotsa fun! probably a uniform of some sort to be determined. proper equipment is preferred, i’m playing a drum set that fits the bill, but you know, no randy rhodes v’s! yes silvertones! yes fender amps! yes strats! yes jazzmasters! yes p-bass! yes tiescos! yes magnatones! yes eb-0’s! yes jaguars! doesn’t have to be old gear just appropriate, that’s all. i don’t want this to be a white bread and mayonnaise sandwich of a band! ability to spiel a plus! attitude a must! if this sounds cool to you please get in contact
