We have a pair of 3 year old Chinchillas available for adoption at our rescue. We are only accepting experienced homes. You will have to fill out our adoption application and go through our home screening process. Silver and Sterling are two very special girls. They were victims of neglect and had suffered loss of their hair due to barbing. These animals require lots of space and enrichment to ensure their happiness and to prevent unwanted hair chewing. They are currently in a ferret nation cage and have access out their cage into a floor play pen. We don’t recommend introducing different species but found they do very well with our rabbit. They are very affectionate and love to play, jump and climb on you. They are more like little monkeys then they are chinchillas.
