This position is intended to be a seasonal/contractor job or a source of extra income. The job offers a flexible work schedule so that you can balance your work and personal life as long-term commitments will not be necessary since we only work on certain projects. This position consists of collecting traffic data, using various methods. As a technician, your job is to help us get the most accurate data possible by taking accurate counts and taking good notes and applying what you learn during our training. Applicants must be in good health and able to work long shifts with some physical demand. The applicant’s work ethic, responsiveness and availability will ensure more work with future projects. This is a 1099 independent contractor position Applicants MUST have the following: - Valid Driver’s License - Their own vehicle (INSURED & RELIABLE) - Mobile Phone w/ internet - Computer literate with access to a working computer (Printer access is highly recommended) - Good sense of direction - Great oral and written communication skills - Can follow specific instructions and turn in data on time. - Must be Thorough and possess a strong attention to detail, take pride in their work and have the right attitude. Compensation ranges between $20-$27 per hour, payment occurs after successful completion of the project. Shifts range from 6hrs to 8hrs
