This inaugural pageant is for deserving young girls K-8th grade in the Seminole County area to highlight talents and community engagement. This event will honor the legacy of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune an educator and civil rights activist who had made history as the first Black person to have a state-commissioned statue in the U.S. Capitol's Statuary Hall in Washington D.C. ***At least one parent or guardian must be present with the child at the meeting.***
