Dynamic and vibrant construction company specializing in Energy Efficiency is looking for a motivated individual for a career in exciting field of energy conservation. We are looking for a BPI certified Energy Auditor. The energy auditor is a full time, Monday to Friday position with occasional opportunity for weekend work. Preferred Qualifications • BPI Building Analyst Certification • Preferred 2 years of relevant construction experience • Valid Driver’s License with clean safety driving record • Preferred OSHA certification • Excellent verbal communication skills • High level of communication and client relationship Key Responsibilities: • Conduct residential home energy assessments which include entering attics, basements, crawl spaces, and assessing HVAC systems to determine energy consumption in each area or system • Conduct energy conservation testing consisting of blower door testing, combustion safety testing and HVAC testing in a timely and efficient manner. • Develop detailed work scopes to be completed by weatherization staff • Educate consumers and clients regarding energy conservation measures Excellent pay, paid holidays, 5 personal days, medical insurance is available.
