Summary: We are looking for a reliable and hard-working individual with a positive attitude to assist in all production areas of our metal fabrication shop located in Saugus, MA. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated and capable of filling many roles, including general shop labor, shipping/ receiving of materials and, when needed, delivery of work products. Our company specializes in creating vacuum chambers however we create unique metal parts and structures for a variety of industries. We offer a consistent work schedule, health and dental benefits and the opportunity to learn specialized metal fabrication skills. Responsibilities & Duties: • Assisting metal fabricators with jobs: deburring, cleaning, cutting, packaging, etc • Shipping & Receiving of materials and parts: Preparing, adequately packaging, loading and strapping products on/ off trucks via hand and/or forklift • Safely delivering metal work products in company provided trucks (Ford F250 and Ford F350) throughout MA and southern NH (as needed) • Coordinating with co-workers and owner to problem solve and ensure job completion • General maintenance of shop equipment and vehicles Qualifications and Skills: • Experience working with and handling metal • Experience packaging, loading and delivering • Ability to safely operate a vehicle • Ability to be active all day • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL NOT required) • ATTITUDE IS EVERTHING! A strong drive to learn, excellent work ethic and pride in your work is a MUST • Attentive to detail and great listener • Learns quickly and can work with minimal oversight • High School Diploma/ GED Experience preferred but not required: • Metal Fabrication • Fork lift operation – training can be provided All inquiries please contact Jennifer
