Professional Photographer, Rick Gerrity will take you on a photo journalistic journey through what it’s like photographing small towns all around the USA. This presentation in his #photographingamerica series will introduce you to Albert City, Iowa, a small community with a population of about 600. Join us as he shares his approach on photographing the residents as well as the town itself. With 515,000 miles on his Nissan Xterra, there are plenty of stories to tell along the way. Rick loves exploring off the beaten path, taking roads that go nowhere and speaking with true locals of these small towns. In addition to a presentation of his work, you will take away tips on gear, settings, how to document your journeys from small home towns, your own home town, or anywhere your photography brings you.
