We’re looking for a cheerful, rugged, part-time urban farmer. Duties include assembling and transporting cedar garden beds, chicken coops, and greenhouses, moving soil with a shovel and wheelbarrow, and planting seedlings. Physical strength and endurance, along with a positive demeanor in all kinds of weather is essential to be on our team. Basic knowledge about carpentry - or at least some handiness, and an ability to learn quickly - are a huge plus. This is seasonal work and the hours can vary widely from week to week. It’s an ideal job for a college student, spouse of someone with a full-time job, or someone with a similar flexible schedule seeking supplemental income.
