Join us to celebrate the 2nd Annual Magkaisa (Unite): Filipino American History Month 2022 in the Elk Grove and Sacramento area! This presents us an opportunity to celebrate our Filipino American history, culture, and experiences through sharing community resources, art, food, and more! Dates: Friday, October 7 - 3 PM - 9 PM and Saturday, October 8 - 12 PM - 8 PM Friday, October 7 Magkaisa Workshops - 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM A compilation of educational workshops that honors Filipino American culture. UBE FEST x Filipino Night Market - 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Join us for an evening you don't want to miss! UBE everything, Filipino owned businesses, artists & creatives, and community resources all in one event. Saturday, October 8 Filipinx LGBTQIA+: Inspire, Resist, & Empower (FIRE) Conference - 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM This conference will not only celebrate shared histories and identities but will ignite the FIRE within Filipinx LGBTQIA+ peoples.
