Very friendly and loving Maine Coon cat. We have tried 3 different homes within our family and can’t get him to stop peeing and pooping in the house. He has been an only cat and had other cats and dogs around. We have tried 3 boxes, Pretty Litter, and he has been to the vet with no UTI found. He is declawed and neutered and chipped. He wants to go outside and be an in/out cat but we can’t do that as we live in town, and I worry for his safety. He usually does really well in a home at first, but develops issues after about 1-2 months. Not sure why. He gets along quite well with other cats, though barely tolerates dogs. He is fine with a dog so long as they don’t bother at him repeatedly. He allows the kids to pick him up and carry him around and is friendly and docile. My only thought would be that possibly someone could try changing the litter box every day. I cannot deliver him. I am currently looking into area shelters as well but thought I would see if anyone was interested. I really want him to go to a good home with someone who understands the breed.
