Black guinea pig with cage

One black guinea pig with Midwest guinea pig cage. Guinea pig is about 1 ½, bought as a young guinea pig from dots in September of 2021. Midwest cage bought in June 2021. Guinea pig is timid, and chatters a lot, not socialized well. Not sure how well he socializes with other guinea pigs because we never tried rebounding him after his brother passed away in January and he didn't get along with his new cagemate. He loves cucumber, haven't been able to get him to eat any vegetables except cucumber and lettuce.
