The City of Fort Worth joined the AARP national network of Age-Friendly Cities and Communities in 2014. The network educates and encourages cities to implement the types of changes that make communities more livable for people of all ages, especially older adults. We invite you to attend the Dementia Live Training provided by Dementia Friendly Fort Worth!Date: Wednesday, September 21stLocation: City Hall Development Conference Room (lower level) - 200 Texas St., Fort Worth, TX 76123Time: 12:00 - 1:00pm Dementia Live offers a unique inside out understanding of dementia and aging. Participants will gain a heightened awareness of the challenges faced by those who live with dementia through a simulated training. Learn valuable tips and tools to improve communications and care.
