A night of dialogue among men who reside in District 7 with raffle prizes from Kicking It ATX, Black Pearl Books, and Bomade Lemonade Vodka. Topics for the evening include Elections, Mentorship, Economic Empowerment and Health. GIANTS vs COWBOYS starts at 7:15pm D.O.P.E - District Organizing: Project Engage is AJC’s grassroots organizing strategy, which seeks to build deep community power within every City Council district in Austin. DOPE aims to transform the way we engage and organize with each other and within communities. It's NOT a campaign. It creates space for the praxis of construction and new ways of being. Through D.O.P.E , we practice building and transforming with long-term vision. It's beyond politics. It is inspired by and rooted in cultural knowledge and organizing.
