We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Janitor. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room and public areas. This is fantastic opportunity to earn competitive pay. Responsibilities: • Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition • Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and shampooing rugs • Gather and empty trash • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures • Service, clean, and supply restrooms • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings • Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities • Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests • Organize custodial closets and spaces • Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures ​Qualifications: • Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields • Ability to handle physical workload • Strong attention to detail • Strong organizational skills • Proven working experience as a janitor • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies • Integrity and ability to work independently Requirements: Must speak fluent English must be willing to travel to multiple sites ranging from Mountain View, Redwood City, Menlo Park, Santa Clara and San Jose.
