Looking for artists for our next group show: Up to 16 Artists Requirements: Send pictures of your work to curator Mr. Hans Payán Geler of the ‘Heights Art Studios & Gallery’ in a message to 1- If the curator likes your work and there is still space you will be accepted and notified right away. 2- The opening show is this September; Saturday 24 at 8:00pm at our gallery in the Heights; 214 E 27 Street, Houston, TX. 77008 3- For the artists selected; We hang everything only on two dates: Sunday 18th between 12noon and 5:pm and/or on Friday 23d between 5:00pm and 9:00pm (no other days), you MUST bring in your work on one of these two dates. You also need to send via email a one sheet Bio (name on top in bold) with a description of yourself as an artist at: (Ask for email please) (This will be placed on your wall section). 4- Our walls are divided in sections, some are larger that others but all have a flat participation fee of $65 per artist/section 5- To reserve your spot you must pay first by Zelle or Venmo only. You will receive a confirmation message as a receipt as soon as you pay. You can also pay later after the show date up to October 1, in that case the fee will be $100 and to reserve it’s $20 ($80 balance on or before October 1) 6- On the evening of the opening you can handle your own sales with no commission to the gallery or if you ask us to handle this, it’s a 20% gallery commission. 7- The Curator will decide what wall section will you work go on based on size, quality and amount of art that you bring in (all of what you bring in may not fit but the curator will choose the best pieces and hang everything for you). 8- The night of the opening the gallery will have some food and refreshments for our guests (including alcohol). You don’t have to bring anything unless you want to share something special for your own group of friends. 9- The gallery will promote the event but each artist must share the flyer into their own social media as well, this guarantees a successful attendance. 10- Your artwork you can take back at any time after the opening date or you can leave on our walls up to November 30, 2022. 11- To attend, this is a free event. 12- People can visit our gallery any day of the week between 11:00am and 6:00pm (May vary on certain days). 13- Our parking space is limited so street parking is ok as long as you don’t block any driveways. 14- The curator is looking for a variety of media, paintings on canvas (preferably unframed), on paper, photography etc. 15- There is a very simple one page agreement sheet to sign before the day of the show (you can sign on the day you bring in your artwork) but you can reserve over the phone or call Hans for any questions.
