Full-time Housekeeper for Private Household in Atherton

We are seeking a full-time, permanent Housekeeper to work alongside our existing household staff to support our family. We are a warm, kind, and easygoing family that likes to build long-term, multi-year relationships with our staff. We offer competitive salary and benefits based on years of experience. Location: Atherton, CA Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, full-time position Family: Married couple with a 1-year-old child and a large, but very friendly dog Responsibilities: • Daily household cleaning of a 9,000 sqft home • Deep cleaning as needed • Mopping, sweeping and vacuuming of floor surfaces (wood, carpet, rugs) • Dusting and cleaning all surfaces with proper products • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, including dish washing and loading/unloading dishwasher • Cleaning of kitchen/cooking appliances (coffee maker, convection oven, outdoor BBQ) • Making beds and changing linens and towels • Laundry and ironing • Ensure adequate stock of all household supplies on an ongoing basis • Removal of trash, recycling and compost; breaking down boxes Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of experience as a housekeeper in a similarly situated home • Verifiable, strong references for your prior work experience • Must be COVID vaccinated and able to work legally in the US (you will be put on payroll) • English speaking • Comfortable working around a large dog • Proactive and organized personality that can work well with other household staff • Clean driving record and background check
