We rounded up 10 places to go sledding around Boston this winter so you don't have to. You’ll be happy you have to wear a mask as it’ll keep your face warm. (Photo by Jack Daryl Photography. See more of Jack's photos and/or buy his prints here.) 1) Larz Anderson Park - Brookline (various slopes throughout the park) 2) Danehy Park - Cambridge (the highest point in Cambridge) 3) Boston Common - Boston (there is a steep hill that faces Charles Street that is ideal for sledding) 4) Sugar Bowl at Jamaica Pond - JP (sledding on an inverted hill) 5) Tufts University - Somerville/Medford (sledding is allowed on the President’s Lawn) 6) Spy Pond Park - Arlington (the edges of the park have the steepest slopes) 7) Prospect Hill Park - Waltham (great views of the city + great sledding) 8) Corey Hill Outlook - Brookline (risky as the hill is steep and there's trees right at the bottom) 9) Amory Park - Brookline (not the steepest) 10) Arnold Arboretum - JP (head to Peter’s Hill for the best slopes) When: Thursday, Dec 17, 2020 9:00a - Sunday, Feb 28, 2021 5:00p Where: Boston Surrounding areas Boston, MA Admission: FREE Categories: Alcohol, Date Idea, Kid Friendly, Party Event website: https://www.thebostoncalendar.com/events/sledding-in-and-around-boston
