How to Write a Grant in THREE Easy Steps. Zoom or via telephone. I will explain the whole Grant Writing Process and the Key Elements of a Successful (& Funded) Grant Proposal. I will do this by explaining every step and the key questions that must be answered to be taken seriously. Since this is a private session, we can move at your pace and you may ask as many questions as you like. If you enroll for all THREE STEPS, I will read & give you comments on your final proposal for FREE. I love to teach and rather train you than charge you for writing it myself. STEP ONE * PRIVATE COACHING SESSION * $75.00 LEARN HOW TO WRITE A GRANT PROPOSAL in a two-hour private coaching session. At the end of the session, you will understand the key components of a Grant Proposal and have completed a written draft addressing key sections. We will review the Cover Letter that will highlight the main points of the proposal and why you selected this funder? We will review the Executive Summary that describes the pressing need & your plan of action; however, this section is usually written last. We'll outline the Organizational Background sections answers who are you? Leadership, board, staff, etc. I will guide you to clearly articulate the Statement of Need. It may seem as if we will complete Step One before the two-hours are up; but, THE NEED Section is the MOST IMPORTANT Section of the grant proposal and, for the majority, the hardest part to write. ******. You may schedule STEP TWO & STEP THREE anytime after STEP ONE, i.e, the next day, etc. ******* If you enroll for all THREE STEPS, I will read & give you comments on your final proposal for FREE. STEP TWO * PRIVATE COACHING SESSION * $75.00 In the Second Session, we'll REVIEW YOUR UPDATED DRAFT PROPOSAL in a two-hour private coaching session. This session will look at the progress you've made on your own and the success of your attempts. Session Two will consist completely of developing your PROGRAM SECTION: goals, objectives, and evaluation questions. ******. You may schedule STEP THREE anytime after STEP TWO, i.e, the next day, etc. ******* If you enroll for all THREE STEPS, I will read & give you comments on your final proposal for FREE. STEP THREE * PRIVATE COACHING SESSION * $75.00 General Overview of the Budget & How to Craft It. This third private coaching session will not write a budget for you, but equip you with the tools and answers to complete it with your leadership. We will focus on the Grant Request Amount, Outline of Budget Items, and the Budget/Financial Information. We'll itemize other sources of support and I'll suggest ways to identify potential funding. Also in this section, we have to craft the message re Sustainability. Lastly, in Step Three, we will draft the Conclusion in which you must summarize your proposal’s main points.
