NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY 9 AM to NOON Saturday, September 24 Get Down and Dirty at Ravine Gardens…volunteers across the nation work in parks and forests, at rivers, lakes, and wetlands, at cultural and historic sites in their own neighborhoods. It is the largest single-day volunteer event on public lands. Ravine Gardens State Park is a hosting an exotic plant removal party at 1600 Twigg Street in Palatka. Meet in front of the Civic Center wearing appropriate clothing for working outdoor including close-toed shoes. Bring a hat, gloves, water bottle, and sunscreen.
