. Join our team and become a Holiday Light Display Specialist with Mile High Lights! Mile High Lights is a local, family owned business that provides a unique Christmas light experience to individual homes and commercial properties. We are looking for quality individuals with the willingness to serve others by hanging Christmas lights. We give our customers the best displays in the Denver Metro area, and would love to have you be a part of our team! As a holiday light display specialist with Mile High Lights, you will be a part of a team who cares about YOU and THE WORK YOU DO . The job of a display specialist is physically challenging and rewarding. Anyone can hang Christmas lights, but if you want to learn how to WOW people with your lighting skills, we will train you to do just that. This is a full time seasonal position. Work is generally Monday - Thursday with Friday, Saturday, & Sunday OFF! Work will begin Monday September 19 and run approximately through the December 10. Work then resumes January 2 and runs through approximately January 31. Qualities of applicant: -YOU are able to work on your own and as part a team -YOU are self motivated -YOU are responsible to show up on time -YOU have a willingness to work in all weather conditions -YOU are unafraid of heights! Approximately 50-75% of your day is spent on a ladder or rooftop -YOU can work to maintain a positive, professional attitude -YOU are physically fit -YOU are physically capable of climbing, using ladders, harnesses and possibly a boom lift -YOU have excellent balance and coordination -YOU have sound judgement and critical thinking skills -YOU are able to pass drug screening -YOU MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION! Work will be all over the Metro Denver area from Boulder to Lone Tree and Evergreen to Aurora. If you work hard and become proficient in your Christmas light skills then you WILL get raises!
