Odie, male, ~1-2 yrs old Very cute, energetic & loving Chihuahua Terrier mix looking for his forever home (or foster) fit for a rescue!🐶💕 •still a baby, 1-2 at most •Chipped & neutered •Found over a month ago, was abandoned & shows signs of being mistreated, like flinching when you go to pet him sometimes •Trusting, loves affection, needs a lot of attention due to being young & needing training •Energetic, likes outdoors, playing with toys, cats, & learning •Sweet & friendly little guy, excited barks at strangers & dogs at times, but with consistent redirecting, he’ll get over that in no time •Behaviors that need work: some separation anxiety (normal in his situation), chews when left alone for long periods, playful & gentle biting, potty training (showing improvement) •*Serious adopters only* Do not reach out unless serious about & have the time, energy & love required to get a young rescue adjusted & trained •Odie’s a good learner & listener •responds very well to positive reward & redirecting behaviors (we just don’t have the time & space to really train him or host him much longer) •*very important* he doesn’t get re-homed again, as he’s already been through trauma & stress. Needs a home/family that’ll never give up on him! •There’ll be a rehoming fee to cover cost of his vaccinations •Odie will bring a lot of love to the home that deserves him, he’s very loyal!
