Musician looking for a good fit

Step 1: get a group of musicians going Step 2: ????? Step 3: global domination I play acoustic guitar, bass, banjo, harmonica, percussion, keys/synth, jaw harp, proficiently to somewhat proficiently, a hand full of other instruments in the novice to mediocre range, and I sing but don't write a whole lot of lyrics and will openly admit, I'm not opera material, but confident enough to sing in front of an audience. I have experience in bands, playing live, studios, doing the solo thing, improv, and I've done lots and lots of home recordings. Plus I just enjoy playing with other musicians. What am I looking for? Not quite sure to be honest. Could be people like me who are multi-instrumentalists and writers who want to collaborate, or a band I might fit in to well, or just some folks who want to do weird stuff with music and go play at a boulder festival or something. I don't know. I like all sorts of music. I've done drum jams, bluegrass jams, folk jams, rock jams, jam band jams, rap jams, instrumental jams, funk jams, classical jams, etc..... Not interested in heavy metal, straight up jazz, country or straight up cover bands, though covers are alright now and again, especially if we aren't trying to sound like a clone of the original song, and double especially if it's something off the wall that makes people laugh because it's unexpected, like showing up at an open mic and playing the IRS hold music. Here's the thing though. My personal music, the stuff I do in my own time, is weird, not your typical radio stuff, and I'm OK with that. And while I would be absolutely elated to find someone who likes my weirdness as much as I enjoy my own weirdness, I'm not on the CL musicians ads trying to find people who want to learn my lines, or develop my music. Should that happen, kittens and rainbows, great, but I'm here offering my services as a multi-instrumentalist, percussionist, singer, to the right people or person who might want some additional accompaniment. And if I have a song you like, and want to develop and make our own, that's cool too, but not necessary. Basically I'm open to just about anything as long as we're all having fun. You want me to get all slap happy on my bass? OK. You want me to go all finger picky on my guitar. Cool. You want me to lay down a banjo track for you? Sounds good. You want me to add some percussion in to the mix? Swell. Sing backups? Get all psychedelic with guitar effects or synth? A little bit of everything from time to time? Whatever! Just looking for some good people to jam with, and always be expanding my horizons. I'm alcohol and drug free though if you drink a bit or smoke a bit of weed I don't care. No Jim Morrison alcoholics throwing egotistic temper tantrums or meth heads or anything though. I'm an easy to get along with guy, and am looking for the same.
