Hiring for Leasing and Maintenance! The multi-family industry is growing at warp speed and positions are available to help people secure new homes in our city. If you’re an enthusiastic and perceptive individual with a knack for sales - who is excited to make an impact in the lives of others - you would be a perfect fit! *Knowledge Skills and Abilities for Leasing Consultant* -6 months of multi-family industry experience -Exceptional customer service skills -Excellent follow up and follow through skills -Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally -Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media Yardi, OneSite, OnSite, etc. a plus! -Must be able to work weekends The person in this position is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks including work orders and unit turns, maintaining the grounds, curb appeal, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas. Preserving the asset and to provide a quality living environment for the residents. Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: • Performs maintenance projects and tasks with minimal supervision consistent with Company policy and direction from the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager • Make ready, unit turns and work orders preventive Maintenance Repair • Assist with all plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and painting • Customer service for prospects, residents, vendors, and corporate departments Required Qualifications, Skills, And Experience • High school diploma or equivalent, college and/or trade school preferred • One to two years industry or maintenance related experience • Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair with hands on experience - Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards (i.e., asbestos, lead, mold, radon) as they apply to residential housing • Proven organizational and time management skills • Valid driver license and automobile insurance • Ability to read and write English; speak English and understand spoken English • Must be able to complete scheduled routine tasks quickly and efficiently, without supervision.
