Seeking Creative Guitarist

Description

I'm looking for a creative, expressive guitarist to collaborate on original music. I'm 50+ years old, male who plays piano/organ/keys. I have original material and I'm seeking a talented guitarist. The music is rock/blues-based but eclectic. Some elements of jazz, indie, pop, folk, soul, classical are present. There is modulation. There are dynamics. There are time sig changes and tempo changes (but not too much). I'm specifically interested in acoustic guitar to begin. 12 string guitar would be very welcome. Your creativity and input will be key in deciding how the guitar parts should be arranged. The music has lots of space for solo instruments, especially guitar. I'd like to approach this music as a somewhat progressive, roots-rock project. Adding a rhythm section and vocals would be a next step, the ultimate goal would be to record and play live if it evolves to that point. But for the now I hope to find a guitarist to learn the music and craft the guitar parts. I'm no great musician and I don't expect you to be...Ideally the music we create will be greater than the sum of it's parts. I'm more interested in your creativity as an artist than your skill as a guitarist. But I also need a musician who is competent, creative, has a good ear and understands basic music theory and guitar theory. I'm looking for someone who has the chops to learn and remember new, original material. I'd like to create music that is organic, collaborative, original, and appreciable by musicians as well as casual listeners. I'm pretty laid back and I'm looking for this to be a low-pressure, enjoyable experience. I'm in no hurry to find the right fit and I'm open to anyone who might have time and energy to commit to a project like this. I prefer working together, in person. I can provide lead sheets/chord sheets if that's helpful. Some online collaboration and digital exchange is good too...but I prefer the majority of the work, at least initially, to be face to face. I'm in the East Valley.
