Cheers to the Phoenix music scene and collaborative works of musical art. I’m Dorian Demetrulias I’ve been playing drums in bands since I was 13. I just moved back to Phoenix from Nor. Cal. Had too much SF Bay Area BS. A few of my favorite drummer influences are Stewart Copland from The Police, Danny Carry from Tool and Louis Cole who specializes in crazy break beats. I’m here for expressive art that is representing the spirit of the times. I’m very into jazz and fusion of genres… I play a combination of acoustic and electronic drums cause I love roots but also down for the future sound. I’ve studied audio recordings and production and have played with recording artists. I was most recently playing with a group called Telepathic Birds from Concord CA. Playing with this act required my ability to play to a click track backing track system… I’m looking to audition singers and keyboardist who would be interested in working with my bass player buddy and I. He and I have a tight working relationship as we have been jamming for many years together. I’m looking to write original music and also create unique sounding crowd pleasing covers.
