Description

The Detailer is responsible for preparing vehicles for the repair process, transporting vehicles off-site to our other lots and sublet vendors, and ensuring vehicles are in pre-collision condition before they get delivered. Performs pre-wash on vehicles. Details and cleans vehicles for customer delivery. Vacuums and cleans the interior of each vehicle, including all windows. Completes In-Process Quality Control (HardStop) sheet, and Pre-Delivery Checklist completely. Visually inspects every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area(s) and reports any issues to supervisor. Follow CARSTAR’s quality control processes and inspections including the Pre-Delivery form completely with signature and date. Helps with general cleanliness of the facility; Cleans shop bathroom, sweep shop floors (pull things away from wall when time allows) Makes sure all doors are locked on lot vehicles.
