Pierce Transit is currently recruiting for a conscientious and detail oriented Transit System Maintenance Worker to join the Facilities Maintenance Division in Lakewood. Some of the regular duties in this position will include: Following an assigned route to perform custodial work. Ensuring cleanliness at bus shelters, seating areas at bus stops and transit centers, emptying trash cans, washing windows, walls, and restrooms and replenishing supplies. Conducting an array of custodial work in and around Pierce Transit buildings and adjacent grounds. Minimum Qualifications Include: One year of experience performing the duties of a laborer, janitor, or custodian OR An equivalent combination of experience and training.
