We are seeking reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Janitor/Day Porter and work with us at our 176-unit luxury apartment complex located in West Los Angeles. Performance Requirements: • You will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the grounds and commons areas, including but not limited to walkways, laundry room, stairwells, garage and carports, offices, business center, fitness center, trash rooms, dog waste stations and restrooms • Light maintenance duties will include changing light bulbs, and assisting in all other areas of apartment turn-over, including bathrooms • Maintain organized and clean supply rooms and equipment rooms • Work with the office and maintenance staff to keep residents satisfied with the complex’s overall condition Qualifications: • Full time availability. 7am-3:30pm, Tuesday-Saturday • Welcoming and friendly personality • Good social and professional communication skills • Self motivated and capable of creative problem solving • Must be familiar with safe use of basic tools, cleaning supplies and chemicals • Act and receive directions given orally or in writing • Able to function effectively in a customer service environment • Bilingual, Spanish and English, a plus • Open to learning new skills * Plumbing experience is a plus!
