On May 30th a devastating fire broke out at the Silverado apartment building here in Salt Lake City. Two people died in the fire when an oxygen tank exploded also leaving many of the tenants misplaced and much of their lives lost in the tragic fire. As a result, a group is doing fundraising activities to help those affected by this tragedy. We invite all to join us in a Figure Drawing gathering on Fri, Sept 16th from 2:00-4:00pm at the Utah Arts Alliance building (663 West 100 South, SLC). We are asking for a minimum donation of $15 and all donations will be directed to those affected. As this is a Figure Drawing fundraiser, we ask that you be 18+ to attend as the class will be drawing from two live, undraped models. So if you've never had a chance to do some figure drawing or if you're more experienced, we hope you'll join us this day for a special Figure Drawing Fundraiser for those people of our community who need a little help.
