Maintenance Technician Job Details: Hours – Full-time, on-call every third week Pay Range – $22.50 / hour Location – Scott County Area, Roving position Maintenance Technician Benefits: 401K Match Excellent and affordable health care benefits Paid vacation and sick time Auto Mileage Reimbursement Paid Holidays Tuition Discount Opportunities / Scholarships Maintenance Technician Job Objective(s): To repair items under the direction of the Director of Maintenance. Completes all assignments in a timely manner. Assist outside vendors working on building and/or equipment issues. Provide oversight and emergency response to all campus equipment and systems. To complete building and apartment inspections as required and assigned. Work with various agencies regarding codes and inspections. Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed. Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently. Perform unit turnover work Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues. Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns Maintain the grounds, trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc. Test the resident security systems as required. Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, appliance and surface cleaning, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc. Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed. Maintenance Technician Qualifications: Two years education and/or experience in maintenance, preferably residential property management. Basic Computer Skills, including ability to navigate efficiently on cell phone and company laptop Ability to relate to the elderly in a patient, compassionate and courteous manner. Maintenance Technician must possess valid driver’s license. Effective communication skills Working Hours: The Roving Maintenance will be on-call every third week, up to nine properties providing on-call services to.
