Hiring Immediately! We are seeking an able-bodied, compassionate, highly motivated individual who understands and values outstanding animal care to join our team at Playful Pet Resort in Carrollton/Farmers Branch. We are currently hiring 1-2 Play Yard attendants. PT (7A-11:30A or 2P-6P) and full time (7AM - 5PM with 2-3 hour lunch) shifts are available. You will work on a great team that is responsible for the care and comfort of some of the best dogs and pet parents in DFW. Your primary duty will be to supervise small groups of dogs (10-15 at a time) in one of our 3 play areas to ensure a clean, safe and fun experience for our guests. Ancillary duties include assisting with feedings, kennel set up and general cleaning. You must have reliable transportation (there is no close public transport) and be physically able to stand and actively engage with our dogs for 90 minutes straight, several times each shift. This job also requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 30 pounds) and the ability to work in a noisy environment. Preferential consideration is given to those with pet care and/or military experience. We are proud to offer above average wages for the pet care industry ($11 - $14/hr, plus bonus), health insurance after 90 days and schedule flexibility.
