shoegaze/indie cellist, vocalist, and guitarist looking to join band

Musician (34, he/him) new to the Triangle looking to join a band or form a project with some like-minded peeps with the ultimate goal of putting out some releases and gigging around town. I work an 8 to 5 and can commute to most places in the Triangle. I have no practice space but am willing to chip in to help get one! I recently did vocals and played cello/guitar for a shoegaze band from the PNW: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1qfHcINBje3HPiyTYndP2k My vocal style and range fall somewhere between Thom Yorke and Matt Berninger. I like creating dreamy layers of noise with my cello, but I mix that up with some more traditional playing, as well. Love playing with the line between weirdness and accessibility. Influences include Radiohead, Dinosaur Jr., Nine Inch Nails, Sonic Youth, Tortoise, Minus The Bear, Battles, Black Dice, and Mr. Bungle. Always interested in doing something genre-bending, weird, or "original". If nothing else, would love to connect with some people that know the area/scene here.
