We have shows and recording studio time booked. We are seasoned musicians who play a mix of original songs, traditional ska songs and songs from other genres presented in a ska/reggae style, so you must be a plug-in-and-play sort of musician. Here's the hitch: you gotta be able to play the riddims on the upbeats as cleanly, as confidently, and as consistently as you solo. We're looking for someone unafraid of their guitar's clean tone. If you make your living playing music this band probably isn't for you. Anything divided among eight band members isn't much these days. We're weekend warriors and play music for the love of it, but we don't pay to play. You must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and you must have your own functional gear. Your substance use must not impede your playing nor your driving. We'd prefer if you have examples of your playing available online. This is a great gig for someone who's been on a musical hiatus and wants to get back into performing and recording. Rehearsals are midweekly in Cary. Practice is up to you.
