For comparison, the conservative movement wants to return to 20th century policies, laws, and business practices. Make America Great Again implies that we were better in the past and returning to the past will, somehow, cure our problems. Progressives recognize the unsustainability of our past policies and practices. They realize the inequities of our laws in the past and want to change these aspects of our society. Vote for progressives or stagnate and perish. This applies to the entire global community.
