Description
fairfax there are major difference in these loan forgiveness programs, the PPP was because our government forcibly shut down businesses across the country it was against the law for them to open their doors to the public. By giving them forgivable loans over 5 million businesses were saved from permanent closure and their employees becoming impoverished, a huge economic catastrophe was averted.
Student loans are a choice people make to further their professional careers, they were given a two year suspension on payment because of the pandemic and now with more than ten million job openings they have a better opportunity than ever to find a good paying job to pay back their loans. The student loan issue hasn't gone away, as long as the government is willing to bail out student's loans, tuition will be unaffordable and the poor who can't qualify for the loans never get the chance for a college education. If you support student loan forgiveness the poor will never get a college education.
Yet you have no problem with the "PPP" program which "loaned" money to rich people and corporations and isn't paid back right?
The same program that many in Congress - including MTG - used to obtain money and not have to pay it back.
Average payout for Student loan forgiveness? ~$10,000
Average payout to members of Congress in the PPP plan - ~$375,000.
Been a hypocrite long? I ask because you're pretty good at it.

This huge government giveaway benefits kids that are mostly White and mostly from rich families. True fact.
Young, spoiled, irresponsible kids are the new democrat base, as they lose Blacks and Latinos at the voting booth.
