Role and Responsibilities
Our Driver/Technicians operate non-CDL power sweeping trucks to clean contracted properties and parking lots during off-peak business hours in order to maintain parking surfaces and keep retail and commercial properties tidy and safe for vehicle and foot traffic. Employees will work in teams and individually. We drive to properties throughout the service area and conduct detailed backpack blow outs of trouble areas, occasional hand-picking of trash and removal/disposal of trash can liners and various debris. We then power sweep each property with our high-performance trucks to ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions. Hours usually range from 9:00pm to 5:00am.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no serious traffic infractions on record
• Must be able to work flexible hours to include some weekend nights
• Must be able to pass drug screening, if required
• Must be able to lift and carry 50-60 lbs frequently
• Must be able to walk for extended periods while carrying heavy items
• Must be able to safely drive large vehicles for extended periods in limited visibility and nighttime conditions
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work and a smart phone (allowance provided)
Preferred Skills
Skills with power equipment and machinery are desired.
Additional Notes
This job requires you to work in dusty and dirty conditions. Employees are required to clean trucks following the end of their shift. You will use high-powered gasoline blowers frequently. You will be on foot and alone in commercial areas often. PPE including eye protection, ear protection and dust mask are required and provided. Individuals not comfortable with such working conditions need not apply.
