Description

The Honoring Our Legacy Event was established in 2016 as a "coming out" party for the Early College HS@DSU. The first honored Dr. Reba Hollingsworth to connect the legacy of a high school division at DSU form the 1940s to present day. The second honored Dr. Ulysses Washington, long-time educator. In 2019, community activists, Dr. Bebe Coker and Stormin' Norman Oliver were honored. In 2020, the event was cancelled due to Covid. In resuming, ECS is honoring Dr. Wilma Mishoe and Enid Wallace-Simms.
