R&B/Soul Singer-Songwriter Looking to Start Band!

Hi everyone! I’m a singer-songwriter based in BK looking to start up a band. The style fits most in the pocket of Soul/R&B, but with healthy doses of jazz, funk, and alt rock influences. Think: jazzy, Nancy Wilson-type vocals with the overall vibe of Hiatus Kaiyote meets Tank and the Bangas and Alabama Shakes. I’ve been writing and composing songs (with the very limited instrumental and music software experience I have) that I’m hoping to make into an EP with people much more capable! If you’re an instrumentalist with experience playing in these genres, I’d love to chat and hopefully collab with you! Major pluses if you have any experience with music softwares, arranging and producing, and/or ties to studio space. Needed: guitarist, pianist, bassist, percussionist, horns.
