“Comfort” Art Series was created to support “Let’s Talk, but in French” It is an event being held on October 1st in 2022 at Maison Freetown African American Art and Culture Center in Lafayette, LA at 10:00am. This event will host the Creole Community in Louisiana for Creole French conversations about Creole Culture. There will be the treats we grew up on, such as: popcorn balls made with steen syrup, sweet dough pies, tea cakes, root beer made from Zatarain’s root beer extract, meat pies and of course coffee. I’m hopeful to have some crackling be made prior to the event by an older generation conversing in French. This Original AI Digital Art Collection was created by Milton Arceneaux of 1 Fleaux Media to generate conversations of the Creole way of life in Louisiana in the 1970’s.
