Description

Brenda Jacklitsch, PhD, MS, is a research health scientist and serves as Coordinator for the NIOSH Small Business Assistance Program at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). She also leads the NIOSH Climate and Work Workgroup. Dr. Jacklitsch is a heat stress subject matter expert and was the lead project officer for the NIOSH Criteria for a Recommended Standard: Occupational Exposure to Heat and Hot Environments, and is currently interested in designing and evaluating educational products targeting employers and workers that may have limited resources and access to professional OSH assistance. She has a PhD in Health Education from the University of Cincinnati, and an MS in Epidemiology and a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. Zachary Harris holds a BS in Environmental Health Science from Eastern Kentucky University. He's been with the OSHA agency for 10+ years including time spent at KY State OSHA, Toledo Area Office, and Cincinnati Area Office. Shelly Przybylski holds a BS in Environmental Health Science from Eastern Kentucky University and MS in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Przybylski has over 7+ years of experience in the field of EHS including time spent working for various government agencies and industry experience in organic pigment manufacturing.
