This course is designed to bring together different people from the gun community who love gear and firearms. We want everyone to bring whatever firearms as long as they are legal, and any gear they want to use for the day. We will start off with our safety brief and then spend time talking about what everyone brought with them and why they run what they run. We want this to be an open discussion day where others can ask questions or advice on their set up and about any gear. The requirement for the course is that you have at least a level two retention holster for any pistols that you may bring or a CCW holster. You can bring your chest rig or plate carrier and battle belt if you have one, but it is not required to attend. you must have a way to retain your magazines. Ammo requirement is 300 rounds for common caliber that you bring (9, 40,45, .223, 7.62x39). Bring 200 rounds for other caliber sizes (, 300BLK, .308, 6.5, 5.7) If you want to bring a firearm requiring expensive ammo you should bring enough for others to try it out but do not need to bring a lot. This course will be a class size of 15. We will be shooting a variety of targets including steel, paper, and rubber dummies. We are also planning on getting a vehicle for this class as well. We plan on grilling lunch halfway through the day so please bring some sides with you as well (chips, cookies, potato salad, etc.) We are excited for this course and hope that you are too.
