As the weather gets cooler, trash people will start to migrate indoors... so before we do, let's have a party in the park! Trash People started in early 2022 as a silly idea and a funny name. It has been so amazing to see how many like-minded and community-driven people we have in our neighborhood through this project - what a privilege to meet so many awesome people, and to have faciliated so many new friendships and connections along the way! Let's celebrate all the good times, the new friends, our successes so far and the (hopefully) exciting future of our little trash community with an afternoon park hang! Bring a snack for yourself or to share, a blanket and a friend! Everyone is welcome and we hope to see both veteran trash people as well as shiny new faces :) We'll plan to meet at the Kedzie side of the park. Please register if you plan to join so that we can send you any event updates (including if the weather looks bad, as we'll find somewhere we can celebrate indoors). We can't wait to see you there!
