Description

All Hallows EveSome believe that All Hallows Eve traditions stemmed from Celtic harvest festivals, especially Samhain—a Gaelic festival that celebrates the end of the harvest season. Others think it is Christian in origin as part of a three-day celebration honoring the saints and recently departed. For this fun cooking class, we will create a feast worthy of honoring both the harvest and the departed. Menu includes curried pumpkin soup and a shrunken head apple-cranberry tart. Instructor: Lindsay Smith FAQsIs this a demo or hands-on cooking class? This is a HANDS-ON cooking class. Instead of group cooking and family style eating, everyone will now have their own station, utensils, equipment, and ingredients. If you attend a class with a partner, you will be sharing a station (table for two). You will be provided additional ingredients to share and prepare with your guest. Please select the proper ticket type as there is an additional cost. Please check the Co-op Website for a complete list of FAQs including COVID protocols, directions, what to bring, and our cancellation policy.
